I attended Purdue University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I'm planning to attend med school in the near future. While I was enrolled at Purdue, I worked as a tutor with freshmen engineering students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I most enjoyed teaching Math and Chemistry, though everything I've tutored has been rewarding. Tutoring has allowed me to help students through similar obstacles I experienced in my own studies. I value being able to relate to students and use my own experiences overcoming academic difficulties to help others. I think it's possible for any student to do well with any material if they're willing to work at it. As an educator, I work to build learning spaces that help students bolster their self-assurance, give and receive feedback, and work with enthusiasm. I'm qualified to tutor Algebra, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Geometry, Physics, and AP courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). I also can work with students on preparation for the MCAT (Physical Sciences, Verbal Reasoning, etc.). I'm originally from Munster, IN. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports (basketball, ultimate Frisbee), singing, playing piano, and reading mysteries.
