I spent 20 years teaching students writing and reading at the college and high school levels, and I consider these disciplines to be my passion. I love to help students become better readers and writers, and I've developed a lot of techniques and gained a lot of experience over the years. My students become efficient and effective readers who can articulate their own ideas clearly. My specialties within these disciplines are persuasive essays and literature, but I also I'm skilled at reading comprehension, research, personal writing, grammar and syntax, and a host of other subdisciplines. When I have free time, I enjoy running and science fiction.
